Rich Jensen is a principal and co-owner of BRS Consulting. In addition to his services as an advisor for BRS clients, he serves as chief financial and investment officer for the BRS companies. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1982 with an engineering degree. After 5 years in the field of engineering, he founded his own financial consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, later moving to American Express Financial Advisors as a Senior Financial Advisor and District Manager. He then moved to Prudential Financial in Newark, NJ, where he served as Branch Manager, Managing Director, and ultimately, Vice-President of Financial Planning. In these roles he managed offices with $3.5 Billion of assets and helped create and develop Prudential’s fee-based financial planning platform. Prior to forming BRS with David Sims, Rich spent four years working with major donors to an international non-profit based out of Little Rock, Arkansas. Rich married Mary in 1985, and they have three children and one perfect grandchild.
